Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I want to share that this was my son’s second visit and the first visit Wasn’t as bad as the second visit on the first visit the Wait time was horrible. On the second visit, my son had a 130 appointment. No one called to validate or verify his insurance prior to him coming to his appointment. I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour while 5-6 other kids Was seen before my child was even called. Before my child was even seen, I told the receptionist and the doctor that I had to return to work and to see how long it would be for my son to get, his teeth clean. The doctor told me five minutes, which would have been right after she saw the patient next to my child. I think that was unprofessional to not even call or email to validate his insurance prior to him coming to the appointment to make sure That the visit will be paid for. That is very inconsiderate for the parent who has to miss time From work to bring their child to that office and placed on almost a hour hold. My child Will not be visiting their office again due to the unprofessional and Inconsideration

Today was 3/4 of my kids very first appointments and I must say we loved the camp creek location. It was packed but the staff work so good together that it was moving fast. The communication was clear, next steps was clear and staff was friendly and also supportive. I have one daughter with mental difficulties and she was treated so well that I didn’t have to step in and help THATS A SUPER PLUS IN MY BOOK !! front desk staff was even awesome 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you guys for today seriously.

Dentistry for Children at Camp Creek was such a positive experience for my family, that we have switched dental offices. The office had available appointments within a week of scheduling , and the staff is gently accommodating to patients who fear the dentist. The staff is respectful of your time and will have you in and out. It was an outstanding experience.

My five year old son had an appointment today. I waited three months for a spot to get his cavities filled. The timing of this practice is utterly ridiculous if it involves a child’s health. I waited three months, took off work, took my child out of school for this appointment because it was the first available. Of course he is a kid he is scared and nervous about cavities being refilled. It’s his first time. So he cried and screamed he was scared. Instead of the tech (or whatever the position she is ) helping calm my son down her words were β€œ we have a substitute dentist in today and if he’s hollering and screaming he is scared, she isn’t going to do any work on him”. I was flabbergasted at this point because I waited 3 months for an appointment. I told her that she will be doing some type of work because of all of the trouble I had to go through to get the appointment. Then she decided that she wanted to change the treatment plan from the dentist he had before. I said no, what is the reasoning ? No explanation was given at all. They filled 2 of his cavities and just got up and left. They barely cleaned him up properly. No toothbrush to go home with or nothing. Trea

I would like to acknowledge Breanna, she is soooo amazingly professional at doing her job. I give her all 5 stars. I can’t even explain just how detailed she was….i just know she was proficient, very pleasant and courteous. She ask me the right questions and did not keep me in suspense of waiting on a response or what the response would be. Her attitude was heard thru the pleasantness of the tone in her voice. It’s like she was tailored just for me today… I’m not feeling well and she acknowledged that…I’m thankful and so very grateful for Ms. BreannaπŸ’œ
